- I've been attending this festival for the past 6 years, and 2010 definitely got me excited for the lineup. I had a hard time falling asleep a few days before we headed out to the desert!
Like all festivals, there are times when your favorite bands are lined up against each other forcing you to choose between them. Regrets from this year are DJ Lance Rock (missed due to insane traffic), Atoms for Peace (Thom Yorke), Deadmau5, Camera Obscura, Faith No More, Les Claypool. Caught the tail end of a few that I need to see full-set, including Florence and the Machine, Yann Tiersen.
We actually got Yann Tiersen's setlist, when we got to the front as they broke down the stage after his performance.
Aside from the typical logistical nightmare of getting into the festival on day one, the entire festival was a boatload of fun which I can never quantify, but the picture of all of us exploding from the bus seems appropriate enough. Can't wait for next year. :)
